Made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre grapes grown in Penticton and Osoyoos this new label, made by winemaker and winegrower Dwight Sick (formerly of Stag's Hollow) offers dominant peppery aromas woven with espresso, wild red berries, bittersweet cocoa and iodine. It is smooth and fresh, savoury and streamlined. Don't expect opulent here, it's a more restrained style with a distinctly salty finish.
